Practical Information & Tips

Getting your device set up is incredibly straightforward. Upon arriving at Singapore Changi Airport, simply head to the designated collection counters located in the arrival halls of your respective terminal. Please ensure your smartphone is unlocked and compatible with international SIM cards before your trip. Because Singapore has strict telecommunication laws, you will be required to present your original physical passport for mandatory registration during the collection process. The staff at the counter are generally very helpful and can assist you with inserting the card and activating the network if needed.

If you select the option that includes the EZ-Link transit card, remember that it functions as a stored-value smart card for public transportation. You can easily top up the balance at any MRT station, bus interchange, or convenience store across the island, making your daily commutes incredibly efficient. To activate your mobile data, simply insert the SIM into your device, and the network will typically configure automatically. Keep in mind that while data is generously allocated, the unlimited aspect may be subject to the provider's fair usage policy, so it is always wise to monitor your usage if you plan on downloading massive files. Enjoy your trip with the peace of mind that comes from being perfectly connected!
