Essential Information and Driving Requirements

Before you rev your engine, there are a few important details to keep in mind to ensure a smooth and safe journey. First and foremost, driving a go-kart on public roads in Japan requires proper documentation. All international participants must possess a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention, or a Japanese driver's license. Passports must also be presented upon arrival.

What to Bring and Wear

Comfort is key when operating a vehicle. We highly recommend wearing closed-toe shoes—sneakers are perfect—as sandals, heels, or long skirts can interfere with the pedals and are generally not permitted for safety reasons. While costumes are provided, it is a good idea to wear comfortable clothing underneath. Don't forget your sunglasses to protect your eyes from the wind and the bright island sun!

Safety First

Safety is the top priority on every tour. Before hitting the streets, your guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing, explaining how to operate the kart, the rules of the road, and the hand signals used during the convoy. The karts are meticulously maintained and easy to drive, featuring an automatic transmission so you can focus on the spectacular views and the sheer joy of the ride. Arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to complete the necessary paperwork, select your costume, and get comfortable in your seat.
